Birds fill the sky with motes of black as the first airship of the day takes flight. Its sails catch the magically warmed air from the Stratus Anvil, and the ship rockets upward before the propellers begin to spin and direct it west, toward Caedhold. As the sky vessel sails away from Bravon, the ship begins to rapidly lose altitude. Even from a distance you can see it turn an about-face, headed back to the citadel. The airships of Bravon have been traversing the skies for years. Why would they be faltering now?
Arriving in Bravon, the party will need to gain the trust of General Gelbreg to access the Caelum Research Facility, where mountain dwarves have constructed the world's first airships. Once they gain entrance, the characters discover that there is a problem with the airships, and they are unable to fly without restoring power to the Stratus Anvil. A young research assistant has gone looking for a solution in a nearby cloud giant tomb, and has been missing for two days now. Can the party get Bravon flying again, and perhaps perform a daring rescue along the way?
